After having to take a 2 year break from work due to illness Isobel Grigor was able to rebuild her career thanks to her qualifications and academic research background, something that inspires her work as Chief executive of a Highland charity.

This is shown through Isobel's passion about the work the Calman Trust provides in helping young people no matter what their background find their feet in life and in the jobs market.

The Calman Trust have also developed a social enterprise in Inverness in the form of the Artysans Cafe. The cafe not only provides a service to the customer but also provides valuable training and experience for their Clients.

Since it began in 1998 the Trust has grown from strength to strength and now have 300 young people on its books.
